PRESS: Transneft says Poland wants to buy Russian oil in 2023
MOSCOW, Nov 16 (PRIME) -- Poland plans to buy Russian oil in 2023 as seen from its applications to Russian oil pipeline monopoly Transneft, the company’s Vice President Sergei Andronov told Kommersant business daily on Wednesday.
“Besides applications of the consumers, who use the transportation route of the southern string of the Druzhba pipeline to Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic through Ukraine, I would also like to underline that there are applications from Poland via Belarus for 2023,” he said.
According to Kommersant’s sources, Poland’s oil company Orlen has sent to Transneft application for transit of 3 million tonnes of Russian oil annually.
